Brownie Friends and Family Skating Party

When:       Monday December 17, 2012
Where:      Centennial Community Centre Arena
Time:         6:00 pm to 7:30 pm, but we can arrive any time after 5:30 to
                  start getting ready.
Reason:    To celebrate the holiday season with our Brownies!
Who:         Brownies and their friends and family
SG2 Due:  Monday December 3, 2012
Cost:         Free for Brownies
                  Regular admittance fee for any friends or family members as our
                  event is being held during public skating times.
                  Children (15 and under) - $2.30 per visit 
                  Seniors - $2.45 per visit 
                  Adult - $4.00 per visit

Required:  All Brownies must wear a helmet when on the ice.  Brownies will
                   also need their own skates as rentals are not available at this location.
                   Uniforms are not required for this event.
                   Please bring a water bottle.
                   Helmets for adults are recommended, but not mandatory.

                  Please let us know if you have extra skates that you are willing to lend to any
                  Brownies or family of Brownies.

Santa Claus Parade

Date:                Saturday November 24, 2012
Drop-off:          10:00am in front of Markham Village Library
                          6031 Highway 7 (Highway 7 and Main Street Markham)
Parade Time:   11am to 12pm
Pick-up:            After the parade at the end of the parade route
Parade Info:     Main Street Markham Santa Claus Parade

Costumes:        We will be dressing the girls up as dolls for the parade.  Please send a dress or oversized nightgown that your Brownie can wear over her winter coat, as well as one teddy bear.  If you do not have a dress or nightgown, please let us know and we will see if we can find extra outfits.  We will be painting rosy cheeks, freckles and pinning braids to the girls' hats.

CTV's Toy Mountain:    Main Street Markham is collecting new unwrapped toys for CTV's Toy Mountain.  You are welcome to bring a donation and drop it off at any of the participating stores along Markham Main Street.
